Mr John Ralph AC – Chairman
Mr Ralph had an illustrious business career. He retired as CEO of CRA Ltd after 46 years with the Group. He was subsequently Chairman of other major companies, including Commonwealth Bank and Foster’s Brewing Group, Deputy Chairman of Telstra and Director of BHP. He was President of the Business Council of Australia, National President of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, National
He is chairman of the Queen’s Trust for Young Australians and has chaired four major Inquiries for the Commonwealth Government. He was appointed a Companion in the Order of Australia and has received Honorary Doctorates from three leading Australian Universities. In addition, John has received many awards including:
- Honorary Member, Grand Magisterium, Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem
- Gold Palm of Jerusalem, Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem
- Elevated to Knight Grand Cross, Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem
- Papal Knighthood, Knight Commander con placa, Order of St Gregory the Great – awarded by Pope Benedict XVI.
- Centenary Medal, Federation of Australia
- Grand Cordon of the Sacred Treasure, awarded by the Emperor of Japan for ‘his outstanding contribution to closer economic relations between Australia and Japan’.
- Australian Catholic University – Doctor of the University (honoris causa)
- University of Queensland – Doctor of Laws (honoris causa)
- University of Melbourne – Doctor of Laws (honoris causa)
Mr Andrew Price KHS – Treasurer

Mr Price was appointed to the Foundation in 2022 as the inaugural Treasurer. For more than 20 years he has had various roles within the Australian investment management and financial planning field.
He worked for various leading Australian companies, including National Australia Financial Management, Norwich Union, AMP, Bank of Melbourne and Westpac. Mr Price has also had senior management roles in financial planning operations for several accounting practices.

Mr Anthony Kennedy OAM KHS KLJ OMLJ
Mr Kennedy was appointed to the Foundation in 2022 as the inaugural Secretary. He has over 20 years of experience in economic development with the Victorian Government and 15 years of experience in the not-for-profit sector. He is currently the Chairman of several not-for-profit organisations.
Mr Kennedy was appointed a senior fellow at the University of Melbourne’s Faculty of Veterinary and Agricultural Sciences (2020-2024). In 2017 he was made a Member of the Star of Ethiopia and Commander in 2022. In 2019, Mr Kennedy was awarded a medal in the Order of Australia for service to the community through various organisations.

Mr Kevin Bailey AM KHS – Committee member
Mr Bailey was appointed to the foundation in 2022 as the inaugural board member. Kevin has long been one of the most respected leaders in financial services. As a former Director and Fellow of the Financial Planning Association, he has received many accolades for his contributions to the industry.
In 2017 Kevin was recognised ‘for significant service to Australia-Timor Leste relations, to philanthropic organisations, to the financial planning sector, and to the community’, when he was made a Member in the Order of Australia.
